About this item
- Food-Grade Materials: Mylar bags are made from food-grade materials that are safe, eco-friendly, durable, and tasteless. These bags feature a three-layer construction: PET, Aluminum foil, and PE.
- Thicker Thickness: The bags have a substantial thickness of 10 mils, with each side being 5 mils thick. This includes an extra internal layer of aluminum foil for added durability and puncture resistance. It prevents light and air permeation, ensuring longer food storage.
- Resealable Zipper Bag:The resealable zipper design is convenient for frequently consumed foods and can be sealed with a hot iron or heat-sealing machine for long-term storage. Its stand-up design simplifies cabinet storage.
- Multi-Purpose: Dehydrates food for storage, including grains, beans, oats, dried fruit, candies, coffee beans, and tea.
Aluminum foil bags made with 3 or 4 layers high resistance material, normally it will have one layer aluminum foil or metalized film in the middle of it to keep the products reach out of sunshine or direct light, this will keep products with longer shelf and have higher barrier properties. 
Reminder:
If mylar bags are used with oxygen absorbers, please make sure to remove as much air as possible from them. These will not normally look like they have full vacuum packaging, as these absorbers only target oxygen. Other gases comprise 79% of the atmosphere, but do not impact long-term food storage. If you need vacuum-sealing, please use a professional vacuum sealer.
